Production Operator
Location: Thorne / Belton, DN8
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm
Pay Rates:
* Monday to Friday: £13.69 per hour
* Saturday: £20.53 per hour
* Sunday: £27.38 per hour
* The site is within commuting distance of Belton, Scunthorpe, Thorne, Doncaster, and surrounding areas. Due to the location and shift pattern, candidates must have their own transport.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting Production Operators to join a well-established manufacturing facility in the Thorne/Belton area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, motivated individuals seeking long-term employment within a fast-paced production environment.
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate manufacturing machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
* Carry out quality inspections and checks on finished products.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
* Follow company procedures, health and safety regulations, and work instructions.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
* Report machinery faults, safety concerns, and production issues promptly.
* Assist with general production and housekeeping duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach to work.
* Flexible to work rotating shifts.
* Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as the site is not accessible by public transport.
