Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bridgwater area to recruit an inspiring and ambitious Performing Arts Teacher specialising in Drama and/or Music.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a creative and energetic teacher looking to make a real impact within a dynamic and supportive department.

✨ The Role

You will deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students through creative expression and performance.

The role will involve:

Delivering engaging Drama and/or Music lessons
Encouraging confidence, creativity, and collaboration
Developing students' performance, technical, and communication skills
Supporting a vibrant extra-curricular programme (productions, clubs, performances)
Contributing to a strong and supportive Performing Arts department

✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching Performing Arts (Drama and/or Music) at KS3 and KS4
✅ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ A creative, energetic, and engaging teaching style
✅ The ability to inspire both students and colleagues
✅ A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to department development
✅ A belief that every student can succeed👉 Please note: This role is not suitable for ECTs.
