Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a well-established client specialising in electrical and solar projects, who is seeking an experienced Temporary Site Manager for an upcoming project based in Lincoln. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor on a fast-paced project with a strong pipeline of work.
Project Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 2 months
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00
Rate: £280 - £300 per dayRole & Responsibilities:
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Duties will include:
Managing site activities and maintaining a well-organised, productive environment
Ensuring all personnel sign in and out in line with site procedures
Upholding and enforcing strict health and safety standards at all times
Coordinating and liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and the client
Monitoring progress and ensuring works are carried out in accordance with programme and quality expectations
Acting as the key point of contact on site, ensuring clear communication across all partiesRequirements:
Proven experience in a Site Manager or similar supervisory role
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
Valid First Aid at Work qualification
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A proactive and professional approach to site management
Electrical or solar experience is not essentialThis role would suit a confident and driven Site Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment and is looking for a rewarding short-term contract with a respected client.
