Job description:

We are looking for an experienced RAN Engineering Specialist to join our team for a 12-month contract. This role focuses on optimizing mobile radio access networks and driving process improvements through automation and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the complex interactions between coverage and capacity within the mobile radio access network.
• Implement best practices for coverage management and develop new methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Identify operational blockers and provide actionable improvement plans and solutions.
• Utilize an automation-first mindset to reduce delivery times.
• Present analytical findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in the radio planning space.
• Radio Planning & Tools:
• Strong proficiency in radio planning tools, specifically ATOLL (with a focus on Automatic Cell Planning).
• Experience in PCI/RSI planning and mobile Radio antenna configurations.
• Coverage modelling expertise across all technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Experience with propagation model ITU-528-3.
• Data & Automation:
• Experience using visualization tools such as QGIS or ARCGIS for complex data elaboration.
• Proficiency in coding (eg, Python) and GIS data analysis skills.
• Compliance: Experience with Radio network compliance, including ICNIRP and GA drawings.
