IT Infrastructure Project Manager - New Office Build
Location: Cork, Ireland (On-site 5 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 18-Month+ Contract

Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the technology delivery for a large-scale new office build in County Cork. This is a high-profile project requiring an individual who has successfully managed complex office relocations, new office developments, or large corporate fit-out programmes, with responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of all IT/AV infrastructure and workplace technology components.

The successful candidate will work closely with programme leadership, construction teams, technology vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless design, implementation, and deployment of all IT and AV services within the new facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of all IT-related workstreams for a major new office build project.
  • Coordinate technology requirements with business, facilities, construction, and vendor teams.
  • Manage the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of workplace technology solutions.
  • Create and manage project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets, and reporting.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
  • Develop and maintain room data sheets and technology specifications.
  • Oversee network infrastructure design and deployment activities.
  • Manage AV and collaboration technology design and implementation.
  • Coordinate Microsoft Teams room deployments and meeting room technology solutions.
  • Manage site access systems, room booking solutions, and internal security technologies.
  • Track hardware procurement, availability, inventory, and deployment against project timelines and budgets.
  • Drive testing, system validation, and readiness activities prior to occupancy.
  • Provide regular project reporting and status updates to programme leadership and senior stakeholders.
  • Support business readiness, user adoption, and upskilling activities for the new office environment.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale office build, office relocation, or workplace transformation projects.
  • Strong background managing IT infrastructure and workplace technology programmes.
  • Experience delivering projects involving:
    • IT and AV design
    • AutoCAD/BIM Design through to Project delivery
    • Room data sheet creation
    • Network design and deployment
    • HR system integrations
    • Site access and security systems
    • Room booking platforms
    • Microsoft Teams deployment and collaboration technologies
  • Experience managing multiple vendors, suppliers, and third-party delivery partners.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.

Technical Environment
Experience with some or all of the following technologies is highly desirable:

  • Microsoft Teams/Samsung/HP Poly/Cisco Meraki
  • Enterprise networking infrastructure
  • Access control and security platforms
