Shire Healthcare are working in partnership with a specialist children's care provider to recruit Residential Children's Workers for a two-bed children's home in Leigh.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established service supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD). You will play a key role in helping to create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic home environment where young people can thrive.

What's on Offer?

* Total yearly earnings of £33,750 to £37,100 (including sleeps)

* Full-time permanent contract

As a Residential Children's Worker, you will:

* Provide high-quality care and support to young people within the home

* Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people

* Promote emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development

* Support young people with daily routines, education and recreational activities

* Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning

* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals

* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times

Essential Requirements

* Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)

* NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, Children & Young People's Workforce or equivalent

* Previous experience supporting young people within a residential childcare or care setting

* Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references
