Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer – CornwallWe are working with a leading provider of heating, maintenance, and renewable energy solutions within the social housing sector, to recruit an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer across Cornwall.

Job Role:
Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
Diagnosing and rectifying breakdowns in social housing properties.
Completing repairs efficiently and in line with Gas Safe regulations.
Managing parts ordering and job progression to ensure timely completion.
Using PDA technology to update jobs, record work completed, and book parts.
Liaising with tenants and clients, providing updates and delivering excellent customer service.
Participating in the company call-out rota.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.Requirements:
Current Gas Safe registration.
ACS qualifications including:
CCN1
CPA1
CENWAT
CKR1
HTR1
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
City & Guilds Energy Efficiency qualification.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience using mobile PDA technology.
Previous experience carrying out gas servicing and breakdown work.
Experience within social housing or housing association contracts.
Full UK driving licence.
DBS clearance.Benefits:
