Domestic Gas Engineer – Reading/High Wycombe/Oxford
📅 Monday to Friday Only – No Call Outs, No Weekends**
💰 Up to £45,000 per annum

Tired of your weekends being held hostage by the on-call rota?
Want to actually switch off at the end of the week?

We’re looking for a skilled Domestic Gas Engineer who’s ready to leave the constant disruptions of emergency call-outs behind. If you’re craving a role where you can do what you do best—diagnose, repair, and maintain—without sacrificing your evenings or family time, this could be the fresh start you’ve been looking for.

The Opportunity

Join a well-respected maintenance contractor that’s built a strong reputation—not just with clients, but with its engineers. Known for looking after their people and holding onto them, they’re offering a genuinely sustainable work-life balance without compromising on job satisfaction or pay.

You’ll be working across a patch in Oxford/Reading/High Wycombe and the surrounding areas—no lengthy commutes, no postcode lottery. Just quality work on private domestic properties, with the support of a team that actually values its engineers.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Diagnosing and repairing boiler faults with accuracy and efficiency
- Carrying out routine maintenance in domestic settings
- Delivering high-quality work that meets current safety and compliance standards

What You’ll Bring

- At least 4 years’ experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
- Core domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1)
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills—especially on boilers
- A full UK driving licence
- A customer-focused approach and solid communication skills

What’s in It for You

- No call-outs. No weekends. A genuine Monday-to-Friday schedule
- A supportive team environment with low staff turnover—you won’t just be a number here
- Real opportunities to develop and progress your career
- A competitive salary of up to £45k, with the stability of working for an employer that values work-life balance

Ready to get your evenings and weekends back?

If you’re an experienced gas engineer looking for a role that respects your time as much as your skills, we’d love to hear from you
