Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join an established technical manufacturing business based in Forfar.
Our client is part of an established international manufacturing group, operating a large production facility in Angus with a strong reputation for quality and innovation across their sector.
What's on offer?
Full-time permanent position
£41,231 to £47,416 per annum on a sliding scale
Three shift rotation across days, backs and nights:
Day shift: 07:00 to 15:00 or 08:00 to 16:00
Back shift: 15:00 to 23:00 or 16:00 to 00:00
Night shift: 00:00 to 08:00
48-hour on-call period required one weekend in fiveAs a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will include:
Organising and prioritising maintenance work on a shift-by-shift basis
Installation of plant and machinery
Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
Carrying out portable appliance testing
Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all timesTo be considered as a Maintenance Electrician, you will need:
A time-served electrical background, educated to HNC or City and Guilds level
Additional training or knowledge in the mechanical discipline
Working knowledge of current Electrical Regulations
