Role Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor/Estimator

Role Purpose
Lead and manage tendering and quantity surveying activities, producing accurate cost estimates and
ensuring effective financial control across projects while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
 Prepare and manage tenders, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (up to £5M)
 Coordinate bid processes and ensure compliant, high-quality submissions
 Manage Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and financial forecasts
 Prepare interim applications, valuations, and final accounts
 Negotiate with supply chain to achieve best value
 Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and opportunities
 Liaise with stakeholders to agree tender figures and maintain relationships
 Support business growth through innovation and process improvement
 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Essential Criteria
 HNC/Degree in Construction (or equivalent experience)
 Proven estimating and quantity surveying experience (refurb & new build)
 Strong knowledge of tendering, procurement, and bid management
 Experience managing project financials (CVRs, forecasts, reporting)
 Good understanding of NEC/JCT contracts and measurement methods
 Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
 Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
 Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
 Full UK driving licence and CSCS card

 Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
 Ability to work independently and collaboratively
 Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality delivery
