Zero2Five are proud to be working with a quality private nursery based near Forest Row, East Sussex, who are seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to lead their Two-Year-Old Room.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Early Years professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive nursery environment that is committed to delivering outstanding childcare and early education.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team within the Two-Year-Old Room
Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children
Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate learning and development records
Complete and oversee two-year progress reviews
Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals
Support the early identification of additional needs and appropriate interventions
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are consistently met
Support, mentor and develop team members within the room
Maintain high standards of care, hygiene and record keeping
Requirements:

Relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)
Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
Experience working with two-year-old children
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
