The Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
Provide tailored support to pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance
* Build positive and trusting relationships that encourage engagement and confidence
* Work alongside teachers to support learning within the classroom
* Deliver targeted interventions and strategies to promote positive behaviour
* Help pupils develop social skills, resilience and self-regulation techniques
* Support the implementation of individual behaviour support plans
* Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
Has experience supporting children or young people in an educational, care or youth work setting
* Demonstrates patience, empathy and a calm approach when managing challenging situations
* Is confident building positive relationships with pupils from a range of backgrounds
* Has strong communication and teamwork skills
* Can adapt their approach to meet individual pupil needs
* Is passionate about supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes
* Remains positive, proactive and solution-focusedWhat's On Offer
