We're looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer who wants to step into a true leadership role , driving engineering excellence, guiding teams, and ensuring electrical packages are delivered to the highest standard across the full project lifecycle.
This is your opportunity to move beyond delivery and take ownership of technical direction, decision-making, and team development on major builds.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading the electrical engineering function across large-scale construction projects
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to project engineers and site teams
Driving design coordination and ensuring alignment with site execution
Resolving complex technical challenges and constructability issues
Overseeing RFIs, design changes, and engineering deliverables
Supporting procurement, commissioning, and final handover phases
Conducting technical reviews, audits, and quality inspections throughout delivery
Working closely with project leadership to support risk management and key decisionsYou'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are not only delivered - but delivered right.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
Significant experience (8-10+ years) delivering electrical packages in construction or building services in the UK or Ireland
Proven track record leading engineering activities on large, complex projects
Strong technical expertise across power distribution and building services systems
Experience managing design coordination and multidisciplinary interfaces
Confident leader with the ability to mentor and develop engineering teams
Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
