Aspire is currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and behavioural challenges within a specialist educational setting.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with young people who require additional support to access education, develop social skills, and build confidence. All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), with support tailored to their individual needs, strengths, and aspirations.

Through innovative approaches and personalised learning strategies, staff work together to help every student overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
## Key Responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
* Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation through consistent support and guidance
* Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Supporting students both inside and outside the classroom
* Promoting independence, confidence, and social development
* Building positive and trusting relationships with students to help them engage in learning
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
* Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
## The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN, ASC, SEMH, or behavioural needs is desirable
* Experience within education, youth work, care, support work, sports coaching, or similar settings is advantageous
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships
* A proactive and adaptable attitude
* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people to succeed
