We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Tutor to support a Key Stage 1 student on a 1:1 basis within their home in Ramsgate.
This rewarding role involves delivering personalised academic support tailored to the child's individual learning needs, helping to build both confidence and educational progress in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Role
Provide engaging and structured 1:1 tuition sessions
Adapt learning approaches to suit the student's SEN needs
Create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment
Build a strong rapport with both the student and family
Monitor progress and encourage academic development
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Patient, compassionate, and reliable
Confident delivering personalised learning support
Able to work independently within a family home
Passionate about helping children achieve their potential
Requirements
Previous SEN experience preferred
Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Teaching, tutoring, or support work experience desirable
