SEN Tutor Needed
We are looking for a passionate, patient, and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 academic support for a student in Herne Bay. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on helping learners build confidence, achieve progress, and enjoy learning in a supportive environment.
Location: Herne Bay
As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with a student on a 1:1 basis, tailoring sessions to meet their individual educational needs and learning style. You will provide engaging academic support while creating a positive and encouraging learning experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver personalised lessons in line with the student's academic goals
Adapt teaching methods to support additional learning needs
Build confidence, motivation, and independent learning skills
Create engaging and structured sessions
Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
Develop a strong, trusting relationship with the student
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Confident delivering core academic subjects
Creative in their teaching approach
Reliable, professional, and passionate about education
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or tutoring experience is desirable but not essential
