Join Our Client as a Full-Time Temporary Admin Officer in Burnley!
Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Our client, a reputable organisation within His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS), is hiring for a dedicated Admin Officer to support court operations in Burnley. This 12-month contract offers a 22.5-hour week (Mon-Wed), with a pay rate of £12.86 per hour.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing papers, files, and court documents for hearings and meetings
* Managing records and data input on in-house systems
* Assisting with court clerking, scheduling, and supporting court users
* Handling face-to-face, phone, and written enquiries professionally
* Supporting the organisation of meetings, training, and other activities
* Processing casework, including court orders, fines, and legal documents
* Verifying records, checking compliance, and assembling information for reports
* Contributing to team meetings and small projects, offering problem-solving support
* Occasionally acting as Court Usher
What you'll bring:
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and professional approach
* Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
* Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities
* Experience in administrative roles or customer service is desirable
