Customer Service Administrator

Location: Poole, Dorset

Hours: Monday – Friday (37 hours per week)

Salary: £25,500 - £26,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Opportunity

Are you a customer service professional looking for a role with a meaningful purpose? We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a prominent and highly respected national organisation.

In this role, your work is vital to the organisation's success by providing exceptional service to a dedicated network of volunteers and community groups. You will be a primary point of contact, ensuring that those who give their time to support the cause have the resources and guidance they need to succeed.

The Role

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will provide a first-class service to key individuals and fundraising groups to secure support, nurture relationships, and increase levels of engagement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Relationship Management: Building rapport with various volunteer groups through proactive telephone and email communication.

* Engagement Support: Assisting volunteers with the creation of support materials, including marketing posters and invitations, and coordinating the logistics of shared equipment.

* Financial Administration: Managing financial processes such as raising purchase orders, arranging supplier payments, and preparing volunteer expenses in readiness for payment.

* Enquiry Handling: Responding to a variety of enquiries via telephone, email, and post, while resolving complaints to a high standard.

* Operational Admin: Maintaining a working knowledge of internal systems to assist with payment processing, event administration, and stocktake returns during peak times.
