We are working with a specialist construction contractor delivering refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London.
This Quantity Surveyor role will involve managing the commercial aspects of live projects, including refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations schemes, working closely with site and project teams to ensure strong cost control.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of multiple live projects from procurement through to final account.
Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities
* Commercial management of refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects
* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
* Valuations, variations and interim payment applications
* Cost reporting and monitoring project performance
* Assisting with final accounts and commercial close-out
* Supporting site teams with day-to-day commercial matters
Quantity Surveyor – Requirements
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
* Background in refurbishment, groundworks or structural alterations projects
* Understanding of JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Strong numerical and commercial awareness
* Ability to manage multiple live projects
