Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a specialist construction contractor delivering refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role will involve taking full commercial responsibility across multiple live projects, including refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations schemes.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with operational teams to ensure strong commercial control from procurement through to final account.
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Key Responsibilities
* Full commercial management of refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects
* Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
* Valuations, variations and interim applications
* Cost reporting and forecasting across live projects
* Final account preparation and negotiation
* Supporting site teams with commercial and contractual matters
Senior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction
* Strong background in refurbishment, groundworks or structural alterations projects
* Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Experience managing multiple live projects
