What you'll do

• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business priorities, translate challenges into data-driven solutions, and deliver high-impact analytics projects end-to-end.
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Provide analytical leadership on cross-functional initiatives, offering technical expertise and commercial insight to drive business outcomes.
• Develop clear dashboards, visualisations, and presentations that communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of analytical outputs while improving reporting processes, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and support colleagues across the analytics community, promoting best practice, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Strong background in data analytics or business intelligence, ideally within financial services.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, with experience working across large, complex datasets; Apian exposure would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical capability, including statistical techniques, data modelling, and translating business challenges into actionable insights.
• Expertise in data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, delivering clear and impactful outputs for senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record of leading complex analytics projects, influencing decision-making, and driving measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience mentoring colleagues and promoting best practice across analytics teams.
