Maintenance Electrical Technician – Weekend Shift
Location: Poole

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrical Technician to join a skilled maintenance team within a fast-paced production facility. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant operations through proactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities.
The successful candidate will adopt a multi-skilled approach, working both independently and collaboratively to diagnose and resolve electrical issues within time-sensitive production constraints.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site equipment
Diagnose and rectify faults on complex electrical systems using technical drawings
Work on PLC-controlled systems managing hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Perform electrical installation work as required
Ensure minimal downtime through efficient fault resolution
Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Key Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience in electrical fault finding within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Experience working with PLC-controlled systems (desirable)
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ideally currently working in a Maintenance Electrical Technician role

Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am – 10:00pm (2 x 12-hour shifts)
Friday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (1 x 8-hour shift)
Week 2:
Friday & Saturday: 10:00pm – 10:00am (2 x 12-hour shifts)
Sunday: 10:00pm – 6:00am (1 x 8-hour shift)
