Rotating Shifts:
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Week 3: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Artemis Talent Solutions are recruiting an Electrical Engineer on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based near Newport.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
The Role
As Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of manufacturing equipment
• Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
• Maintaining and improving plant reliability
• Electrical installations and modifications
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Conducting safety inspections and compliance checks
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Working closely with production teams and external contractors
The Person
We are keen to speak with Electrical Engineers who possess:
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Time-served apprenticeship
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong electrical fault-finding ability
• Experience working with control circuits
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Desirable Skills
• 18th Edition qualification
• PLC fault-finding experience
• Automation experience
• Pneumatics and hydraulics knowledge
• Injection moulding experience
