We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, assembly of products and stock management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a dynamic environment, utilising various warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge. The Warehouse Assistant will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining safety standards across the facility.
Working hours Monday - Friday (Apply online only), overtime is available.
Duties
* Assemble items using hand tools.
* Assist with shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing goods against documentation.
* Support stock organisation through stocking shelves and maintaining a clean, organised warehouse environment.
* Conduct basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during daily operations.
Experience
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
* Knowledge of materials handling techniques, stock control procedures, and shipping & receiving processes is beneficial.
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills within a team-focused setting.
