Warehouse Operative – Chessington
Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives to join a highly prestigious and unique warehouse operation, based in Chessington.
Our client specialises in the production and worldwide distribution of a specific genre of books.
Role Overview
This role involves working within the warehouse team, taking completed book collections from the production line and preparing them for dispatch.
Duties will include packing finished products into shipping cartons, palletising stock, wrapping pallets, labelling orders, and ensuring all items are prepared accurately and safely for transportation. You will also assist with general warehouse duties to support the smooth running of the operation.
This is a physically demanding role and will suit candidates who are comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Requirements
• Good attention to detail to ensure orders are packed accurately and securely
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling duties throughout the shift
• Comfortable lifting and moving products weighing up to approximately 20kg
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, although full training will be provided
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
08:00 – 16:30
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Pay Rate
£13.00 per hour
