Daily rate: £600 outside IR35 + travel expenses

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Location: 3days/w onsite in Stevenage(ideally), otherwise Newport or Portsmouth.

Methods is looking for a Senior Technical Specialist (ESXi/HPE/NetApp/Backup), responsible for executing and technically validating all Compute, Virtualisation, Storage and Backup activities.

Some of the activities include:
Deliver and manage Compute (HPE) & Virtualisation (ESXi) environments
Assess and remediate storage & backup obsolescence
Execute and coordinate Ransomware Wave 1 & Wave 2 technical activities
Manage and fulfil infrastructure requests (IPs, DNS, Firewall, VLANs, installations)
Supervise and coordinate vendors and Build Factory technical inputs
Contribute to and produce BRDs and technical documentation

Requirements:

Highly experienced hands-on infrastructure engineer with deep technical expertise across secure, air-gapped and defence environments.

• Compute: HPE ProLiant, BladeSystems
• Storage: NetApp
• Backup: Veeam, NetBackup
• Operating Systems: RHEL, Rocky, CentOS, Windows Server
