Tradewind Recruitment are supporting a well-established and ambitious secondary school in St Helens who are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their successful department from September 2026 until Christmas, with the potential for the role to be extended.

The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and encourage students to develop a lifelong interest in science.
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Be able to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics to GCSE level
Have excellent classroom management skills
Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learnersThe role offers:
September 2026 start
Fixed-term until Christmas 2026
Pay between £168.80 and £232.56 per day, depending on experience and scale point
