Talent STEM is recruiting for an experienced First Line Manager to join a global manufacturing organisation operating within a highly regulated process manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Production Supervisor, Shift Team Leader or Shift Manager looking to join a well-established international business that offers genuine career progression, excellent benefits and a highly attractive shift pattern.
The Role
As First Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading production operations within a manufacturing area, ensuring that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong people management skills, operational decision-making capability and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a team of production operators on shift.
* Deliver production plans safely, efficiently and to quality standards.
* Promote and maintain strong SHE and process safety performance.
* Coordinate activities with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
* Support operational troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
* Conduct investigations, Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions where required.
* Participate in audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage permit-to-work activities and plant preparation for maintenance activities.
* Ensure operational documentation and production records are accurately maintained.
* Drive housekeeping, 5S and operational excellence standards.
