North London – Qualified Social Workers – Children Services – £30 - £32 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload within Children's Services, including areas such as Safeguarding, Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children, Fostering, Adoption, Assessment and Duty.
* Undertake comprehensive child and family assessments.
* Complete Section 47 enquiries and safeguarding investigations where required.
* Develop and review outcome-focused care plans.
* Carry out direct work with children, young people and families.
* Prepare high-quality reports for meetings, reviews and court proceedings.
* Attend court hearings and provide evidence when required.
* Work closely with partner agencies including education, health and police services.
* Ensure statutory visits, reviews and assessments are completed within required timescales.
* Support children and families to achieve positive outcomes through effective intervention and planning.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and local authority policies.

Essential Requirements:
• Degree/Master's in Social Work and Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience within Children's Services.
• Experience in one or more Children's Social Work specialisms, including Safeguarding, Assessment, Child Protection, LAC, Fostering or Adoption.
• Strong knowledge of UK social care legislation, safeguarding procedures and statutory guidance.
• Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
• Right to work in the UK.
