An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Commercial to join a growing and evolving industrial business operating across a diverse portfolio of projects and services.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk, and supporting the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to develop commercial strategies, maximise profitability, and ensure robust contract management across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the commercial function across the business.

Provide strategic commercial guidance to the senior leadership team.
*
Oversee contract negotiation, administration, and risk management.
*
Ensure effective management of commercial performance and profitability.
*
Develop and implement commercial processes, controls, and reporting.
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
*
Support business development activities, bids, and tender submissions.
*
Lead, mentor, and develop commercial team members.
Requirements
*
Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role.
*
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing, construction, infrastructure, or related environment.
*
Demonstrable experience managing commercial risk and driving business performance.
*
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
*
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence at all levels.
*
Degree-qualified or professionally accredited (desirable).
