*Senior C++ Software Engineer-Contract role-Denmark*

RED Global is currently looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer for one of our key clients in Denmark.

The client is looking for an experienced C++ engineer to support the migration and evolution of a business-critical analytics platform used within financial markets, pricing, trading, and risk management.

This is a contract opportunity based in Denmark, with 2 days onsite presence.

Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months+ extension
Utilization: Full-time

Key responsibilities:

• Support the migration of a complex C++ application from Windows to a multi-platform environment across Linux and Windows
• Review and improve the existing platform architecture
• Contribute to scalability, performance, and reliability improvements
• Work on a high-performance analytics platform supporting pricing, trading, and risk management
• Collaborate with international engineering and business technology teams

Key requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expert-level C++ development experience
• Proven experience with multi-platform C++ development, especially Linux and Windows
• Strong hands-on experience with CMake
• Deep understanding of threading, Multithreading, and concurrency
• Strong knowledge of memory management and performance-critical systems
