Location: Havering, Essex
Position: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £120 - £130 per day
Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Havering from September.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support learning across the school, deliver planned lessons, lead small group interventions, and help pupils achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Support pupils' learning and development across the curriculum.
Lead small group and one-to-one interventions.
Assist with assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents where required.Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to support pupils with a range of learning needs.
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential.
Relevant HLTA qualification or substantial school-based experience preferred.What We Offer:
