Key Responsibilities:
As a Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will play a vital role in helping a child with Autism by:
Providing one-on-one support to the student, tailored to their specific needs.
Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to create and implement individualized learning plans.
Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters the child's academic and personal development.
Assisting the child with Autism in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Monitoring and recording the child's progress and behavior, while offering consistent support and encouragement.Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with children who have Autism.
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with special educational needs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
