Senior Play Worker Practitioner
Job Type Part Time – 29 hours a week
Location Tranent, East Lothian
Salary £13.00 to £15.00 per hour Circa, (depending on experience)
Hours: Breakfast and after school hours (Term Time) school holiday hours (You may be asked to work during school holidays)
Breakfast – 7.15am to 9.00am
Afterschool – 2.30pm to 6.00pm (Monday – Thursday) 11.45am – 6.00pm Friday
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic, committed Senior Play Work practitioners to join Tranent out of school club.
They aim to provide a safe, healthy, and fun play environment for the children, ensuring that their time spent with them is happy and rewarding. The staff are warm and welcoming, offering the best care to the children.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualification in Play Work/Childcare is essential at SVQ/HNC Level
Have experience of and a passion for working with children between 4-12years
Be committed, dynamic and creative
Have a talent for facilitating social, emotional, and play development
Have high expectations of yourself and others
Have good time keeping skills
Be friendly and approachable
Be committed to training and personal development
Be computer literate
