Are you passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes?
We are seeking a Residential Support Worker or Senior Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential service in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing safe, nurturing and child centred care.
Responsibilities
• Supporting children and young people with daily routines, education and independence
• Building positive and trusting relationships
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Safeguarding and advocating for young people
• Completing daily records and care documentation
• Working alongside families and external professionals
• Leading shifts and supporting colleagues (Senior Support Worker)
Requirements
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care or equivalent
• Previous experience within a children's residential setting
• Good understanding of safeguarding and childcare legislation
• Positive, resilient and child focused approach
• Full UK driving licence desirable
