Supply Chain Expeditor
Location: Burton on Trent (On-site)
Contract: 6 months (likely extension)
IR35: Inside
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
Overview
We are recruiting for two junior-level Expeditors to join a busy and fast-paced supply chain function within a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment.
These positions are well suited to individuals with a background in purchasing, supply chain administration, or logistics coordination who are looking to move into a more operational role with greater responsibility and involvement in delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers

Work closely with procurement, planning, and operations teams
Identify risks to delivery schedules and escalate where required
Support the coordination and flow of materials across the business
Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the supply chain
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Confident communication skills, particularly when dealing with suppliers
Proactive approach with the ability to follow up and resolve issues
Good attention to detail and data accuracy
Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP or MRP systems) is desirable
This opportunity is open to relatively junior candidates who have a solid foundation and are looking to develop within a supply chain environment.
