Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning?
We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive school seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in education, youth work, mentoring, social care, sports coaching or behaviour support who is looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people.
The Role
* Supporting pupils with SEMH, behavioural needs and additional learning needs
* Working on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Building positive relationships with pupils who may struggle to engage with learning
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem
* Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, SENCOs and families
* Promoting positive attendance, engagement and learning outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with children or young people
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Calm, resilient and patient approach
* Confident supporting pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD or challenging behaviour
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives
