GSL Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Spalding. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire students through practical learning while developing their understanding of nutrition, food preparation, and healthy lifestyles.
The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and hands-on lessons that encourage creativity and confidence in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons
Teach practical cooking skills and food preparation techniques
Promote knowledge of nutrition, hygiene, and food safety
Assess and monitor student progress effectively
Prepare students for practical and written assessments
Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching Food Technology in UK secondary schools
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A passion for practical education and student development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
