We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Management Accounts team in Glasgow. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality financial reporting and insight to support business performance in a fast-paced, global STEM talent organisation.
You’ll gain strong exposure to month-end processes, financial analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, making this an excellent opportunity for someone progressing towards a professional accounting qualification.

What you'll do
Month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll)
Balance sheet reconciliations & variance analysis
Produce clear, insightful financial commentary
Partner with stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues
Support audit processes and maintain strong financial controls What we're looking for
Experience in financial or management accounting
Studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA (or equivalent)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to produce clear financial commentary
Good communication skills with non-finance stakeholders
Intermediate Excel skills (advanced desirable)
Experience with SAP or Dynamics 365 (nice to have)
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to prioritise independently What's in it for you
