Plater

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for a Plater for our client located in Scunthorpe. This is a long term contract position.

Job purpose:

To carry out fabrication / plating and associated activities in accordance with line management instructions

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the Instructions and Documentation, relevant Quality Standards, Risk Assessment, Safety Method Statement and other relevant specifications

Interpret engineering drawings and other documents as required

Select tools, equipment and supplies needed for the welding they have been assigned to

Completing activities as required following proper practices and appropriate fabrication procedures

Using safety equipment in various places as required

Working as part of the crew or team to complete the project within the timeline indicated by the supervisor or line manager

Attending trainings and classes to keep up to date on the latest technology and techniques

Follow the Company health, safety and environmental procedures

Any other reasonable duties as decided by the supervisor or line manager
