Platers Required – Immingham
We are currently recruiting experienced Platers for a project based in Immingham.
This role involves carrying out over-plating repair work, fabrication, fitting, and installation activities within a heavy industrial environment. Candidates must be able to work from engineering drawings and complete work to a high standard while adhering to strict safety procedures.
working Pattern:
12 days on, 2 days off
07:00 – 18:00 daily
10 hours paid per day
Pay Rates (Self-Employed):
£275 per day Mon-Fri
£375 per day weekend
£25.00 per hour for the first 8 hours worked each day
£37.50 per hour for all hours worked over 8 hours per day
£37.50 per hour for weekend working
The Role:
Carrying out over-plating and repair work
Measuring, marking out, fabricating and fitting steel plate
Working from engineering drawings and specifications
Installing and aligning fabricated components
Working safely at height when required
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Plater within heavy industrial environments
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience carrying out structural steelwork, repairs, and modifications
Must hold a valid Working at Height Certificate
Comfortable working at height in an industrial environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Previous experience within industrial, structural steel, petrochemical, refinery, marine, or heavy engineering environments is advantageous
