A school is looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to support students who need help with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. This role is ideal for someone who can remain calm under pressure and build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
You will work with students who may present challenging behaviour, supporting them to make positive choices and access education in a structured and supportive way.
Requirements:
Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs.
Strong de-escalation and relationship-building skills.
Calm, confident, and professional approach.
Ability to work with individuals and small groups.
Enhanced DBS and references.
Key responsibilities:
Support students in managing behaviour and emotions.
Build positive relationships and encourage trust.
Help students access learning and remain engaged.
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents.
Promote consistency, structure, and resilience.
