Our client secondary school in Bolton are looking to recruit a full time Behaviour Mentor.
This role will start in September 2026 and is a permanent position however, the school are also open to someone beginning ASAP.
The school is based close by to the centre of Bolton and is easily accessible via car and public transport from surrounding areas such as Bury, Salford and Wigan. With around 700 pupils, the school is smaller than average with a dedicated behavioural provision.
- Full time role, 35 hours a week
- Salary between £22,000 to £26,000 per annum (dependent on level of experience/qualifications)
The role will involve:
- 1:1 and small group support for students aged 11-16
- Tailored strategies collaborating with parents, carers and teachers
- Promoting positive behaviour management
- Overcoming barriers to learning
- Diffusing situations and using the schools strategy to manage behaviour
- Supporting students who will show signs of challenging behaviour
The incoming candidate must have experience supporting in a role similar previously and be confident supporting students with SEMH and/or behavioural needs.
