Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist alternative provision in the London Borough of Brent. This full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting secondary-aged pupils (11-16) with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside additional needs such as ADHD.
This nurturing school takes a holistic, child-centred approach to education, providing engaging enrichment opportunities that help pupils rediscover themselves, build confidence, and unlock their full potential.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with SEMH and additional needs both in and out of the classroom
Build positive, trusting relationships that promote engagement and wellbeing
Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Help pupils develop the skills and confidence needed to achieve success
