Occupational Therapist – SEN School

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a specialist SEN school in Fareham. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment, helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to thrive.

You will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory processing difficulties, delivering interventions that promote independence, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday school life.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and support students with a variety of occupational needs
Develop and implement tailored intervention plans
Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals
Promote independence, engagement, and wellbeing across the school setting
Contribute to a collaborative multidisciplinary approach

Requirements

HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
Experience working with children and young people, ideally within SEN
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential
