Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home
Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours per week (including days, nights, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays)
Salary: £15.34 per hour - £70.50 sleep-in rate

Are you an experienced residential childcare professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role?

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our children’s home. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the management team and making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered. You will help lead the team and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Providing a safe, supportive, and child-centred environment

* Leading shifts and guiding care staff

* Supporting care planning, record-keeping, and reporting

* Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards

* Promoting independence and positive outcomes for young people

Person Specification:

* Minimum 1 year experience in residential childcare

* Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated children’s home

* Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (required)

* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child-centred practice

* A positive, resilient, and committed approach

* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
