A leading manufacturer in their field is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their established and growing team. Operating within a secure, high‑demand market and supplying advanced technology worldwide, this business offers long‑term stability and genuine career security.

You'll be responsible for producing high‑quality components to precise specifications, ensuring machines are set, programmed and operated safely and efficiently. This is a hands‑on role within a well‑equipped workshop, supporting both production and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Check incoming material is correct and cut to size, reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader

Create or adjust CNC programmes to meet component specifications

Manufacture components to production deadlines using CNC and manual lathes

Carry out all required safety checks and operate machinery in line with company standards

Inspect finished components, ensuring they meet specification, are de‑burred, engraved and blasted where required

Save and store new programmes correctly for future use

Hand over completed components and documentation to the Team Leader

Produce jigs and fixtures to support machining processes

Follow the machine maintenance schedule and operator guidelines

Regularly check and maintain machine oil levels

Skills & Experience

Experience operating CNC and manual lathes

Minimum 1 year in a CNC or toolmaking environment

Confident working within a workshop/manufacturing setting
