Smile Education are thrilled to be working alongside a vibrant primary school located in Birmingham. We are currently seeking a KS1 ECT to join the team from September 2026.
We are currently seeking a KS1 ECT to join this friendly team from September 2026 until the end of the academic year. The successful applicant will be completing all usual roles and responsibilities associated with a class teaching position, including marking and planning. Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to the long-term nature of the role and the ability to complete induction terms throughout.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving primary school at the heart of it’s local community. The school is located in north Birmingham, within proximity to Handsworth, Great Barr, Handsworth Wood and Birchfield. The expected salary range for this role is between £150-£210 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply due to the long-term nature of the position and the ability to complete induction terms throughout. Clear career progression pathways are in place for sustained career growth and development, including pathways into middle leadership.

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
