Astute Recruitment are working with a well-established business in Derby who are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual who enjoys a varied administrative role and is looking to join a friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries
* Processing and filing sales orders
* Responding to customer emails
* Raising purchase orders and processing invoices
* Producing simple Excel-based reports
* Printing product labels and documentation
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
* Providing general administrative support to the wider team
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous administration experience
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Experience using ERP systems would be advantageous but not essential
