TIG Welder - Contract Role

Location: Chichester, West Sussex
Project Type: Construction / Fabrication (thin sheet metal work)
Duration: 6+ weeks
Pay Rate: £28 per hour (CIS)

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to support site works, primarily focused on thin sheet metal welding. This is a hands-on role requiring high-quality welding standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced site environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out high-quality TIG welding, mainly on thin gauge sheet metal.
Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans.
Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards.
Perform basic fabrication and fitting duties where required.
Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
Work closely with supervisors and other trades on site.
Adhere strictly to hot work permits and site safety procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a TIG Welder (essential).
Strong experience working with thin sheet metal.
Valid CSCS Card.
Manlift (MEWP) licence required.
Forklift licence required.
Experience working under hot work permits.
